Freedom Beach lies at the far south western end of Koh Jum, about a kilometre down a sandy track off the main road.
Freedom Beach has only one resort, Freedom Bungalows And Bar, which has some impressive treehouses you should definitely check out even if you’re not staying here. It’s the only resort on this beach, and the kilometre long walk through the jungle trees along a flat, sandy track definitely makes you feel you’re heading somewhere remote before you emerge onto the beach.
While it feels isolated, the sandy track begins right on the outskirts of Koh Jum village, so it’s easy to go and get supplies and explore as required.
