Koh Jum Village is the main settlement on Koh Jum, down in the far south of the island. There’s a large school with a football field at the start of the village, and then a twisting road of shophouses that leads down to the modest pier over the sea.
There are several tourist information shops here that can help you with activities like hiring mountain bikes etc as well as general stores that sell alcohol and snacks. There is no 7-11 on Koh Jum so this is the nearest you’ll find to a convenience store.
You can also change money here, but it’s a better idea to bring enough with you from the mainland to avoid the hassle of having to visit the money exchange. Remember there are currently no ATMs on Koh Jum.
How To Get To Koh Jum Village
Follow the main road – the only road – to the south – you can’t miss Koh Jum Village as it’s where the road ends at the water’s edge. The nearest accommodation to Koh Jum Village is at Freedom Bungalows, which is off the main road at a T bend with the village a couple of kilometres down a sandy dirt track.
